Beaufurb The Furby: A Niagara Falls Adventure

Achievement: #28. Take Pictures of a Silly Mascot in 10 Famous Places

Well, if you read our post about our trip to the St. Rosalia church festival, you know that we purchased our official mascot for our mascot photo Achievement. I got this idea from a series of photo postcards we saw at an Unblurred Gallery Crawl last year, similar to the commercial about the garden gnome who takes pictures all over (also seen in that fantastic movie Amelie).

And finally, after thinking and searching (I had my heart set on an Andy Van Slyke action figure, but just couldn’t seem to find one for cheap), we settled on this little Furby, which we purchased for 50 cents at the St. Rosalia rummage fair.

Furby at Niagara Falls
And last weekend, he got to visit Niagara Falls for the very first time.

Believe me, people take all kinds of ridiculous photos at Niagara Falls, but if you take a picture of a Furby at Niagara Falls… you still get some funny looks.

Where will the Furby go next? I think he’s got a boardwalk in his future… 🙂
