Friday Statudanceatopia: Nature Dancing

Achievement: #5. Inappropriate Dancing

We’re just a little behind schedule on our monthly statue-or-dancing feature, but there’s good reason: this month wasn’t just any old inappropriate dancing adventure. It was Californian inappropriate dancing extravaganza!

Inappropriate Dancing
Striking a pose with dangerous sneks on the Lake Nacimiento Resort 5k during a sunset hike.

Inappropriate Dancing
Dancing at the top of Cerro Alto.

Inappropriate Dancing
Just a little more.

Inappropriate Dancing
Husband joining in the ‘yes, we climbed it’ celebration.

Inappropriate Dancing
Join us…. at the top of Cerro Cabrillo.

Inappropriate Dancing
It’s always time to show off your Fosse moves.

Inappropriate Dancing
(This was definitely an ending pose from a dance routine in high school… maybe from several dance routines.)

Inappropriate Dancing
More Fosse at Joshua Tree National Park.

Inappropriate Dancing
No, don’t judge me, but yes, that *is* choreography from Showgirls.

Inappropriate Dancing
And finally, perhaps my favorite photo of all time, you can take the girl out of the dance studio, but you can’t take the dancer out of the girl, even at Morro Rock at sunrise. Sorry, husband, for making you take the photo 10,000 times to get the timing right. At least you didn’t have to do the leap 10,000 times!
